Light, colour and sweets — paint your own diya, make rangoli and dance at the Bollywood disco. Two days only: the Friday before Diwali and the Monday after — Friday 6 and Monday 9 November. Adults free.
Diwali comes to Funopolis for two days only — the Friday before Diwali and the Monday after, Friday 6 and Monday 9 November. Every child paints their own clay diya to take home — pre-fired, so it leaves with you the same day and there's no kiln wait — alongside rangoli sand art, the Bollywood disco and the full soft play session. The disco runs 4:30–6:30pm on both days, and the last arrivals of the day are Glow Sessions with the lights low. Henna, extra diyas, Indian sweets and mango lassi slush are all there on the day. It's £9.95 a child, adults go free. Two days only — the Friday and the Monday — so book your slot today.

- • Diyas are pre-fired bisque painted with acrylic, so they go home the same day with no kiln wait.
- • Painted diyas are decorative — use them with an LED tealight, not a real candle.
- • Henna is natural henna only, and the artist confirms this before applying.
- • Glow Sessions are the last arrivals of the day, 4–5pm — the lights go low for a proper festival feel.
- • The Bollywood disco runs 4:30–6:30pm on both days.
- • Sessions arriving 9–10:30am are aimed at under-5s — quieter, with the craft tables set up for little hands.
